Brunswick Bicentennial
As this Bicentennial year draws to a close, we wish to thank the members of our committee for their dedication in planning the events of this past year.
In addition to the committee members, we have had help, participation and cooperation from many businesses, individuals and organizations, including among others the Brunswick Historical Society, Brunswick Elks, Brunswick VFW, Town of Brunswick employees, Brittonkill School teachers and students, churches, scout troops, fire departments, Rensselaer County Sheriff's Dept., news media, the New York State engineer who designed the Veterans Park renovations, the construction company members who did the work on the park, etc.
We are hoping that some of the events, including the 5K Race and Fall Festival, will be continued in the future.
The response from the residents of the town has been phenomenal, and we thank each and every participant for their help in celebrating the 200th anniversary of the incorporation of our town!
Bricks are still available in the Brunswick Veterans Memorial Park and if you wish to order one as a Christmas gift, a special greeting card will be available for you to send to the recipient. Please see the ordering instructions on this web site.
