

On Thursday, July 9 at 6 pm, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board at Brunswick Town Hall to consider the adoption of Local Law No 2 entitled "A local law Amending Article I of Chapter 131 of the Code of the Town of Brunswick to Provide for Civil and Criminal Liability for Damaging Streets, Highways, Roads, Sidewalks and Related Structures". The purpose of the local law is to impose civil and criminal liability on persons or other entities which cause damage to streets, highways, roads, sidewalks and related structures in the Town of Brunswick. On Thursday, July 9 at 6:20 pm, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board at Brunswick Town Hall to consider the adoption of Local Law No 3 entitled "A local law Amending Sec 116-3.E. of Chapter 116 of the Code of the Town of Brunswick in Relation to the Placement and Removal of Garbage and Recycling Containers at Curbside". The purpose of the local law is to set limits on the amount of time garbage and recycling containers can be left at curbside prior to and after collection. Full Notice.

The Town of Brunswick Hydrant Flushing Program will be conducted Monday, July 6 through Monday, July 27, 2009. Customers may experience temporary discoloration in their water and possible reduced water pressure during these flushing operatons. They are also advised to avoid washing clothes when flushing is taking place in their area. Water main and hydrant flushing will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. The farmers' market will operate at the Brunswick Town Office parking lot in Brunswick, New York. It will run every Saturday from June 6 to September 26, from 9 am to 1 pm, rain or shine. Information and vendor application
